The Challenge

My name is Cristian Bagni, I am an entrepreneur in the catering sector. For more than twenty-five years, however, I have also been the president of the association Raggio di Sole (Ray of the Sun), which deals with experimenting with methodologies and professionalism in order to provide services to people, such as to promptly respond to the growing needs of citizens and, in particular, the elderly and their families.In its twenty-five years of activity in the social field, the association has always distinguished itself in fulfilling its mission as a Social Cooperative, thus becoming a privileged interlocutor of the Municipality of Reggio Emilia in the governance of the territory, influencing social policies with its know-how and professionalism, creating links with the health world of organised voluntary work and associations. The so-called civic network was also created, actively involving citizenship.The aim of the Multipurpose Day Care Centre Project is to transform a disused building into a day care centre for elderly and disabled people and children in need. However, due to the current economic situation and the decrease in funding by public authorities for social and health care expenses, we are going through a difficult time. I therefore have an important request for the association.We are looking for people willing to finance the project and help us realise it.
The architectural project is in the process of being approved for building permission and work will begin next year. Please find attached the plans and elevations of the project.We therefore ask you to become our partner, accompanying and helping us in the realisation of this charitable work.
